IOM Law is a Norwegian boutique law firm established in 2017 specializing in carbon removal and reduction technologies. We quickly established ourselves as the leading law firm in the industry and have been engaged by public and private clients around the world to solve complex legal issues related to CCUS.

 

Our work includes bridging legal and technical gaps, advising actors who wish to diversify their portfolio to include CCS, project development in countries with and without legal frameworks, advising industry on e.g. liability and risk allocation in contracts for cross-border or national value chains, capacity building and creating national regulatory frameworks for CCS/CCU. Our people are located in Norway, Denmark and Australia, and have decades of experience working with petroleum law, international law, climate change law and natural resources law.
